Everyone tells us that “Change is good!” right? But sometimes it feels like ever-changing taxes is just taking the concept too far. Yet, we DO need our accounting systems to properly calculate taxes for us – because manual updates are definitely not good for our soul.
Well, Microsoft expects their new tax table updates to be available on the Microsoft customer download links THIS WEEK! The 2013 tax changes that were announced for the new year by the IRS need to go into effect at your company by February 15, 2013! It is great to see Microsoft keep up with these seemingly daily updates and react so quickly for their clients. We only hope all the users are being informed by their consulting partners, like Gold Certified Microsoft Partner, Collins Computing, Inc.
In addition to our bi-monthly customer newsletters, Collins Computing sends out “News Flash” emails to any customers on payroll, or other modules that require urgent attention by the users. Additionally, we provide FREE Collins Computing Customer webcasts to our entire customerbase on subjects like “Year-End Closing Best Practices”, “1099 Processing Steps”, and “Favorite New Features of Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013”. If you don’t currently work with a Microsoft Partner that is proactive with informing you how to best utilize your Microsoft accounting software, or if you are in the market to replace an antiquated system, contact Collins Computing.
If you would rather “take a peek” yourself, use one of our many methods of reviewing the software yourself, as seen in Collins Computing’s latest post on the ERP Software Blog.
