FRx Forecaster functions on a 64-bit workstation!

Email | Print

If you are like other FRx Forecaster customers, you may have been stuck in a quandry when trying to update your workstations to 64-bit while utilizing native Forecaster.  Out of the box the FRx Forecaster installation program will not run in a 64-bit environment.  But with a couple of SQL object pre-requisites upgraded, you can continue with the installation and allow FRx Forecaster to function on the 64-bit workstation.

However, one of our business partners, MSX Group, has posted a Forecaster 64-bit blog entry describing how we’ve assisted some of our clients in getting around this challenge.

Of course we understand that many customers may be moving to Management Reporter or 3rd party ISV recommended products like Solver’s BI360 for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting needs for the future.  But we also understand that change can mean expenses that all companies have not budgeted for yet.  So we continue to work with customers to utilize the products they own whlie planning the upgrade path for the future.

So, if you have questions on FRx Reporting, FRx Forecaster, Management Reporter, or a premier BI reporting product like BI 360, contact Collins Computing to help you sift thru the information and find the appropriate solution to keep your business operating efficiently.
